UPS Company celebrates its second anniversary in Mexican market which has been consolidated with the supply of their products. “We have 4% of presence in the country and with only two years we believe that we will meet the targets,” said Ingrid Becerra, regional manager of CDP.
In retrospect, the executive highlighted one of the goals, which was to bring more robust equipment and currently it’s marketing with on-line equipments of 1, 2 and 3 KVAs, covering the demand that the channel requests. By the end of 2008, the plan is to bring 6, 8 and 10 KVAs.
Regarding coverage, Becerra said that they are working with wholesalers like AEM, CTI, CVA, DC Mayorista, Maps and Sistemas Aplicados, among others it’s important to strengthen both regional and local presence.
“The distributor is tired of coming products that do not meet the expectations of quality and warranty offered, resulting in a bad image to the final user. It’s one of our strengths; we handle low RMA, only 0.02%. Our partners are trained to meet with the products eventually and timely with effective manner,” he said.
And, the firm is launching a hotline 01 800 to attend more closely to the channel.” Not only in Republic Mexico, but worldwide, taking firm steps to meet more needs of our partners and clients,” concluded Becerra.
