New B series UPS(2/2004)

Chicago Digital Power Inc. is proud to announce it newest product offering of the B seires economy UPS. In Oct 2003 CDP introduced a feature rich economy B-upr 500. The success of this model has been a huge driving force in our engineers to develop a full line of B series ups for the value oriented customers. Using the same high volume production techniques to lower cost, CDP now introduces these new models. The new models are B-UPR505 replaces the popular B-UPR500. The model now incorporates the number of outlets so the B is for the Series, the UPR is for UPS with Voltage regulation, the 505 stand for 500 VA and the last number tell you how many outlets the units contains (in this case it is 5 nema 5-15 outlets). The new models also differ in that they now include a battery door for hot swap battery replacement that prolongs the useful life of the ups for up to 20 years
