Before initiating our development of the MID Size On-line UPS, we interviewed end users to determine what they where missing in the mid size ups. With this information we started to work on making our customers needs a reality. The result was a truly innovative solution allowing the UPS two distinct advantages offered only on units costing twice the price.

One advantage is scalability which allows a small company to purchase a small UPO6KVA online ups right now and as users need for secure power grows the units allow the power (to be tripled to a max of 18 KVA). The same is true for all 4 units effectively converting an initial investment of a 20KVA into a 60KVA in the future.

Second advantage is redundancy: Which is available in high price units from other manufactures units. CDP included this feature in an effective and economical design for such applications as banking and call centers where power availability is a must. Each of the 4 different models allow for redundancy with a twist. Models from other manufactures provide redundancy by using two same capacity UPS linked (or 1+1) which doubles the cost of the solution. CDP does this but can also do it 1+1 or 2+1 thus allowing 1/3 less units and lower investment cost.

To further provide quick turn around time on service our, engineers separated all functions into 5 power stage boards. This separates the function of the UPS into each basic components boards allowing for swapping and, still allows the other critical functions to continue operating and protecting.
